Vehicle with keys inside stolen from Holden
The Tofield RCMP responded to 30 occurrences from Jan. 4 to 10, 2021 (inclusive). Also included in these calls for service was two motor vehicle collisions with wildlife, six traffic complaints and traffic enforcement provided by the K Division Traffic Unit.
On Jan. 4, Tofield RCMP responded to a number of suspicious vehicle complaints in Holden. Complainants advised that there was a silver Dodge van and a black four-door sedan driving around town and into the back alleys throughout the evening. RCMP attended and located the two vehicles in the Holden campground. RCMP issued a ticket to the driver of the four-door sedan, Robert Belcourt-Silewo of Edmonton, for drive motor vehicle without insurance, operate motor vehicle without registration and operate motor vehicle without operator’s license contrary to the Traffic Safety Act. The black four-door sedan was subsequently seized and towed.
On Jan. 4, Tofield RCMP responded to a 911 call of a break and enter to a residence in Tofield. RCMP attended the location and while patrolling, could find no evidence of the break and enter nor could they find the complainant. RCMP received a subsequent call from a nearby commercial business that the caller from the break and enter was now at their business. RCMP attended, located the complainant and believed that the complainant was suffering from mental health concerns and was subsequently transported to hospital for medical assistance. . . . contd.
