Tofield and Area Health Services Foundation gets new equipment for the hospital
The Tofield and Area Health Services Foundation (TAHSF) was unable to host any fundraiser, according to Chair Brenda Chehade, but despite that they were able to get some new equipment for the Tofield Hospital.
“Fundraising in 2020 basically didn’t happen,” she said. “Our fundraising events involve large gatherings. Fundraising dinners and donations are usually made in memory of people who have passed, but restrictions have cancelled both of these events, and our books show that the donations are down 92 per cent compared to 2019!
“We remain hopeful, however, and are planning to have a fundraising event for Easter perhaps.” . . . contd.
