Lindbrook shop owner charged, to appear in court in April
The Tofield RCMP responded to 60 occurrences from Feb. 15-21, 2021 (inclusive). Also included in these calls for service were 35 traffic complaints, one motor vehicle collision with wildlife, two false alarms and traffic enforcement provided by the K Division Traffic Unit.
On Feb. 15, Tofield RCMP responded to a domestic disturbance in Beaver County. RCMP attended, spoke to the complainant and witnesses where evidence was obtained and charges were laid. RCMP have charged Andy Howse, of High Prairie, with the following: 1) Assault, contrary to Section 266 of the Criminal Code x 2; 2) Assault while choking, suffocating or strangling, contrary to Section 267(c) of the Criminal Code x 2; 3) Uttering threats, contrary to Section 264.1(1)(a) of the Criminal Code x 2. A warrant has been applied for the arrest of Howse.
On Feb. 15, Tofield RCMP responded to a property dispute between parties in Beaver County. RCMP provided direction, although civil in nature, in resolving the issue.
