Tofield School students awarded Athletic and Academic Awards
It wasn’t the same environment or the space in which this year’s award recipients celebrated their success, a fact that Tofield School Principal Janice Muench and her staff had to work with.
“Awards at Tofield School had to look a bit different this year and we certainly grappled with how to honour the hard work of our students who achieved academic and athletic excellence,” she said. “That said, thanks to the hard work of Mr. Bobier and our teachers, we were able to honour our recipients, albeit in a much different way! In-person gatherings of mixed cohorts did not allow for the traditional ceremony and so we felt most sad for our Grade 12 recipients, as this would have been their last awards ceremony in Tofield.” . . . contd.
