CW Sears to bring back Early Learning program

Battle River School Division (BRSD) is bringing back the Early Learning program, which was stopped last spring because of budget constraints.

Among other schools, CW Sears will also be providing this program at a cost of $295 as this isn’t government funded. “The students of our school division will be well-served by bringing this program back,” Shan Jorgenson-Adam, Asst. Superintendent told the Board of Trustees at their meeting on Feb. 25.

BRSD said that it has become clear to them that this program is critically important to the developmental, literacy and social needs of the school division’s youngest learners.

As a result, Jorgenson-Adam brought forward a recommendation to the Board of Trustees that the program be re-instated for the 2021-2022 school year. The program will limit class sizes to about 15 students . . . contd.
