Tofield residents launch new venture
Tofield resident Chris Roy decided to launch a new venture in the midst of the pandemic when he was looking to build something of his own, one that would also fulfill his dream of having his own locker at home.
“I used to play for Beaumont Chiefs Jr. B team, and we were the only team lucky enough to have our own dressing room with stalls,” Roy said. “Ever since then I’d always wanted to have one at home. So when I had a little more time this past winter, I took this idea to my friend Wyatt Jones, who also lives in town here, and who is skilled at wood working and we thought we’d give this a try!”
Since then both Tofield residents haven’t looked back.
“I handle all the sales and marketing, while Wyatt takes care of the wood work and building,” Roy explained. “He was hesitant when we first started but now we are backed up with orders, and we must say we are very fortunate. . . . contd.
