Lindbrook shopkeeper “feels threatened”

It has been an ongoing battle between Lindbrook shopkeeper, Hemla Wilson and the Tofield RCMP since last year, and on Jan. 18, 2021 the former was charged with ‘Individual contravening order of medical officer of health, contrary to Section 73(1) of the Public Health Act.’

Wilson has appealed the charge and is “frustrated” and “feels threatened.”

“I am concerned with the number of trespasses that has occurred on my property – seven times! And I feel threatened as a woman, continually to be harassed and attacked by a masked person with a badge and a gun,” Wilson said. “The first trespass was on Jan. 5, and it was an ambush by Tofield RCMP Sgt. Lee Knelsen and Cst. Sharma along with AHS’s Dave Fong.

“The seventh trespass happened on March 25, which was also an ambush! They cannot show up on my property uninvited and unannounced. I am confused as to why Knelsen continues to harass, trespass, and cause harm and damage upon me.” . . . contd.
