One finger on Hubby’s right hand is sporting some silver bling, if you can call Duct tape bling. One day he came in complaining about his router having an encounter with something it didn’t like in a piece of wood, then winging off and taking a chunk out of one of his fingers. He cleaned and spread antibiotic ointment over it, then wrapped it in gauze and Band Aids before I could see the damage. I felt I had to remind him that he has only one complete hand after shortening two fingers on his left one several years ago with a saw blade but despite a lot of blood and ‘some’ pain he assured me that this time no bones were involved.

A bandaged finger wasn’t making work on his new project, two raised flower beds made of small landscape logs that will move the lilies and something we’ve forgotten the name of from an area that we can’t see from the house to one we can (and where crabgrass can’t overtake it) easy. . . . contd.
