Tofield RCMP responds to residential break-and-enter in Holden
The Tofield RCMP responded to 50 occurrences from May 31 to June 6, 2021 (inclusive). Also included in these calls for service were 20 traffic complaints/tickets, two false alarms, two traffic collisions, eight suspicious person/vehicle complaints and traffic enforcement provided by the K Division Traffic Unit.
On May 31, Tofield RCMP responded to a theft of motor vehicle in Tofield. RCMP spoke to the complainant and found that a white Ford F250 was stolen and later recovered in Round Hill. This file is still under investigation.
On May 31, Tofield RCMP responded to an attempted theft of motor vehicle in Tofield. RCMP attended and found that the driver door lock was damaged along with the ignition to the vehicle. This file is still under investigation.
On June 1, Tofield RCMP responded to an unwanted person in Holden. RCMP attended and found that a court order eviction was in place for a tenant that refused to leave. RCMP along with the owner, were able to safely secure the property and provide direction to the tenants. . . . contd.
