Assault and fraud complaints keep Tofield RCMP busy

The Tofield RCMP responded to 53 occurrences from July 19 to 25, 2021 (inclusive). Also included in these calls for service were fifteen traffic complaints/tickets, one motor vehicle collision, seven suspicious person/vehicle complaints, six wellbeing checks, four false alarms and traffic enforcement provided by the K Division Traffic Unit.

On July 19, Tofield RCMP responded to a theft of motor vehicle complaint in Beaver County. RCMP arrived and found that a blue 1998 Dodge Ram truck was stolen from the property. This file is still under investigation.

On July 20, Tofield RCMP responded to a missing person complaint in Holden. RCMP worked with numerous police agencies in an attempt to locate the individual and were happy to hear that the individual turned up safe at home a couple days later.

On July 21, Tofield RCMP responded to an assault complaint in Beaver County. RCMP attended the scene and spoke to the complainant and found that a family member had attended the residence and a physical altercation occurred. All parties were separated and confirmed that they did not need medical attention.
