Conservatives to go for a five-pillar platform this election
With a snap election called for Sept. 20 by Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, federal political parties are ensuring that constituents are aware of their platforms. An early election has been called because Trudeau needed a new mandate to ascertain that voters were on board of his Liberal government’s pandemic recovery plan.
Battle River-Crowfoot Conservative Party of Canada (CPC) candidate and incumbent MP Damien Kurek stated, “The Prime Minister has called an election for no other reason than his own vanity. Justin Trudeau’s selfish gambit comes at a time when many of our allies are working to tackle some of the major challenges facing the world.
