Early Excess
I got so excited about Liam Neeson’s new movie coming available on Amazon Prime that I hit the Yes-I-want-to-rent button without even glancing at the price. Telling myself that I did look but saw $9.99 would be a big fat lie, but I’d waited long enough already (go ahead; call me petulant – I’m in my second childhood anyhow.) The actual price was $19.99, way too much even for Liam, and the film wasn’t that good. A big disappointment, actually. We’ve watched a lot of the reality show about the real ice truckers and stuff Liam and friends were doing just wouldn’t happen. They’d all be dead, or at least very cold and wet, three times over. Points for special effects though.
