Tofield RCMP attends to child custody dispute in town
The Tofield RCMP responded to 47 occurrences from July 26 to Aug. 1, 2021 (inclusive). Also included in these calls for service were twenty one traffic complaints/tickets, five motor vehicle collisions, six suspicious person/vehicle complaints, five well-being checks, two false alarms and traffic enforcement provided by the K Division Traffic Unit.
On July 26, Tofield RCMP responded to a suspicious person complaint in Ryley. RCMP attended and spoke to the complainant who advised they witnessed two parties breaching a no-contact order. This file is still under investigation.
On July 27, Tofield RCMP responded to a fraud complaint in Tofield. RCMP spoke to the complainant who advised that they had a suspicious transaction for $138.60 on their credit card and did not authorize it. The complainant was advised . . . contd.
