Town of Tofield’s summer program in full swing

Among the many activities that the Tofield and area communities look forward to in summer, is the Town of Tofield’s summer program, which keeps the kids engaged.

This year’s program coordinator Kylie Kuflay has been instrumental in making this program more fun and entertaining for all participants.

“We have made crafts relevant to our themed days. For example, Monday, July 26 was Pixar Day, so we made Forky Crafts from the movie Toy Story 4 and an adventure book from the movie Up,” Kuflay said. “For games, we try to get the kids as active as possible.

“Some of the favourites have been Duck, Duck, Goose; Dodgeball; and Musical Chairs. We try to incorporate music and running as much as possible, since kids usually seem to enjoy a combination of those two things!” . . . contd.
