Tofield’s Hudson Lungal headed to Quebec International PeeWee Tournament
Strathcona Warriors beat the CAC Sturni-Hueston in the finals 6-1 on Sunday, Oct. 3 to win the Oilers Edmonton Group (OEG) U13 Cup and claim their spot to represent OEG and the capital city region at the Quebec International PeeWee Hockey Tournament in Quebec City, from Feb. 9 to 22, 2022.
On the team was Tofield’s Hudson Lungal (#18) playing forward, and he couldn’t be more thrilled.
“I’m extremely happy and excited to represent the Oilers in the Quebec tournament,” Lungal said. “Our team has worked really hard to get to where we are. I want to thank our coaches for getting us to this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!”
Winning the OEG U13 Cup is no small feat as 20 teams from Edmonton and surrounding areas compete . . . contd.
