Deb Dueck sworn in as Mayor of Tofield
Among the Town of Tofield councillors re-elected by acclamation was also Mayor Deb Dueck, who has now been sworn in for another four years.
Dueck’s decision to run again was to contribute towards some of the causes she feels strongly about.
“I decided to run for the position of Mayor again because I feel that I still am able to make a contribution and it is an opportunity to continue to give back to the community, which means so much to me!”
Among the most pressing issues that she currently sees are the programs that the province is proposing to offload onto the tax payers, specific the Provincial Policing that is currently being discussed at the provincial level.
