Fatal farming accident in Beaver County last month being investigated
The Tofield RCMP responded to 40 occurrences from Nov. 8 to 14, 2021 (inclusive). Also included in these calls for service were thirteen traffic complaints/tickets, nine suspicious person/vehicle complaints, four wellbeing checks, one 911 complaints/false alarms, three motor vehicle collision and traffic enforcement provided by the K Division Traffic Unit.
On Nov. 9, Tofield RCMP responded to an uttering threats complaint in Ryley. RCMP attended and spoke to the complainant who advised that a known individual had threatened and verbally abused the complainant. This file is still under investigation.
On Nov. 10, Tofield RCMP were advised of a fatal farming incident in Beaver County which occurred on Oct. 14. Tofield RCMP are currently investigating the details and occurrence at this time.
