“I didn’t want to be a part of the drastic decisions they were making” says Kumson

As the Ryley community awaits 100 signatures for the petition to Municipal Affairs, Councillor Samuel Kumson who was elected to the council with the most number of votes outlines his reasons as to why he resigned on Nov. 3.

“I couldn’t go along with what the other councillors were doing,” Kumson said. “I ran for office because I wanted to better Ryley, which has been my home and will be for the next 20 years; being a councillor means you work within the council.”
