Tofield Library gears up for an exciting year

Tofield’s local library is getting ready for a year of exciting programs, even in the midst of changes.

The Tofield Library appointed Harold Conquest as the new Tofield Library Chair, with Kevin Smook being the Vice Chair this past week.

Former chair, Zsuzsanna Hemperger, who has served the Library for 13 years decided to step down citing time constraints, athough she remains on the board.

“When I found myself in the position of Chair, it was during a time of turmoil for the Library. I feel that along with the other board members, we’ve navigated the waters to the best of our abilities. However, it came at the cost of a lot of time commitment on my part.”
