Snow Goose Festival to return in 2023
The Snow Goose Festival will finally be back in Tofield next year – a two-day festival towards the end of April, it has been scheduled with lots of activities and an evening banquet.
“We would offer scheduled guided bus and hiking tours to the Beaverhill Lake and area to see the Snow Geese, include a wildlife trade show, evening banquet and more!” said Vanita Eglauer, Recreation/Facilities Coordinator. “Individuals are welcome to come out to the Beaverhill Lake and area to experience the spring migration for themselves.”
Eglauer hopes to get some maps of the Beaverhill Lake Area up on the Town of Tofield website so anyone can access and print a map of the area. The maps do identify the range road and township roads for easier navigation. . . . contd.
