Tofield RCMP partners with K Division to nab impaired drivers
The Tofield RCMP responded to 33 occurrences from Aug. 16 – 20, 2022. Included in these calls for service was one 911 complaint, one assault complaint, one fire preventions act complaint, several mental health/wellbeing checks, one trespass, four alcohol related roadside suspension and 14 driving complaints consisting of dangerous driving and violations such as speeding etc.
On Aug. 13, the Tofield RCMP had a Joint Enforcement Operation with K Division Traffic Unit and Sheriffs where they conducted a check stop. The check stop resulted in four drivers being suspended for alcohol related reasons and their vehicles were towed. . . . contd.
