St. Albert RCMP respond to fatal collision between vehicle and pedestrian

On Sept. 10, 2024, at approximately 1:20 p.m., St. Albert RCMP were called to a collision between a Honda Accord and a pedestrian at the intersection of Liberton Drive and Lennox Drive in St. Albert.

The vehicle had been travelling south bound on Liberton Drive, when the collision occurred with the pedestrian who was in the south crosswalk, travelling east bound on Lennox Drive.

The pedestrian, a 75-year-old male resident of St. Albert, was transported to hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. The driver remained on scene and the collision is still under investigation.
