St. Albert RCMP arrest three young males related to assault with a weapon
On April 11, 2025, at approximately 7:30 p.m., St. Albert RCMP received a complaint regarding three male youths who discharged bear spray into a parked vehicle with three occupants in the 300 block on St. Albert Trail.
The three occupants of the vehicle were treated by EMS on scene but no one was transported to the hospital. The three male suspects fled the area but were later located and arrested.
All three male youths, who cannot be identified as per the Youth Criminal Justice Act, were charged with numerous offences, including:
- Assault with a Weapon X 3
- Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose X 3
- Fail to Comply with Release Order
All three male youth were taken before a Justice of the Peace and remanded into custody but have since been released with strict conditions.
