Fort Saskatchewan RCMP responds to fatal motorcycle accident
On June 19, 2024, at 8:12 p.m., Fort Saskatchewan RCMP received a repot of a serious collision involving a motorcycle at the intersection of Highway 37 and Highway 825 .
Upon arrival, emergency crews tended to the driver of the motorcycle who was transferred to STARS. However, the driver, who has been identified as a 60-year-old Gibbons resident died under the care of STARS.
The driver of the other vehicle was treated for minor injuries by EMS. RCMP remained on scene for several hours conducting an investigation.
The cause of the collision is still under investigation.
