Splat Balls!

Rebecca Plouffe, 13, sells Splat Balls at her table at the Ryley Christmas Market held on Saturday, Nov. 24. They were so popular, she only had two left by noon out of a batch of 30. The balls feature eggs, eyes or frogs inside, among other things, and can be thrown into a table, wall or the floor where it will “splat” or spread out before going back into its round shape again. The Ryley Christmas Market was a hub of activity at the Community Centre as people visited and shopped in a lively atmosphere, as well as enjoyed lunch with family and friends.
