Seniors disappointed television stolen from Golden Club

A big-screen television was stolen from the Tofield Golden Club last week, to the disappointment of the seniors who enjoy watching sports and other activities.

At the club’s potluck lunch and annual general meeting last Thursday, seniors expressed their concern about the loss.

The alert went out through social media when someone wrote: “Be careful out there folks! Someone broke into the Tofield Golden Club last night and stole the big screen TV off the wall. It appears nothing else was taken but it’s annoying and inconvenient.”
