Bull Bash in Tofield action packed night

The 2016 Tofield Bull Bash, sponsored by the Tofield Agricultural Society and KNM Process Equipment Inc., burst onto the scene at the Tofield Arena Saturday night to offer up a night of action packed excitement.

A pyrotechnic display lit up the darkened arena for the opening ceremonies with Emily Sjursen singing the national anthem. The cowboys came out to be introduced to the cheering crowd. Then the lights went back on and the bullriding began in earnest.

The Professional Bull Riders (PBR) touring pro division’s 30 riders gave the crowd their money’s worth while attempting to ride angry bulls for an eight second stint before being bucked off. The bulls were a definite match for the riders with only eight qualified rides in the long go.
