The 2012 Alberta Games were held in Stony Plain, Spruce Grove, and Parkland County from Thursday, Feb. 9th to Sunday, Feb. 12th. The games included more than 2,800 athletes, coaches, and officials from the eight different zones across the province.
Coaches and athletes slept, ate and stayed in the games village and entertainment and food was provided by an amazing team of volunteers.
The Winter Games are held every two years to help motivate Albertans to achieve a higher level of physical fitness and a more active participation in sports.
