FCSS office faces possible move as lease runs out Dec. 31
Flagstaff Community and Support Services (FCSS) in Tofield may be forced to relocate after the provincial government refused to renew the lease on the building after Dec. 31st.
The building houses Alberta Children’s Services and other types of outreach programs for local residents, but that part of the premises will soon be vacated.
Residents will have to access services and programs originally offered there in places like Camrose and Vegreville.
Alberta Infrastructure had been leasing the building to house Children’s Services at a subsidized rate, which was the prime leaseholder since the beginning. A portion was sub-let to FCSS.
