Tofield RCMP deal with assaults and break-ins

Tofield RCMP dealt with a number of assaults, break-ins and accidents over the past week.
Male Involved in Fight
In the early morning hours of Saturday, Feb. 18, RCMP received a complaint of an assault. Sgt. Jim Warren reports that a male was involved in a fight with unknown assailants. The man was taken to Tofield Health Centre where he was treated and later released. This matter is still under investigation.
Break and Enters in Ryley
In the early morning hours of Saturday, Feb. 18, a number of break-ins were reported to businesses in Ryley. Thieves stole liquor from the liquor store, chain saws from Ryalta Industries Ltd., and tools from the Beaver County shop and grader shed. Andrukow Group Solutions (Ryley) Inc. was also broken into but nothing apparent was taken.
