Beaver County Council established guidelines for short-term application of dust control and long-term guidelines for oiling.
Margaret Jones, assistant CAO, explained the guidelines “streamline the dust control policy.” The deadline for applying for short-term dust control is April 30th, she said, calling it “business as usual.”
Last year, some county residents complained they missed the deadline to get the dust control application of calcium chloride on the roadway in front of their residence.
