From 9 a.m. to noon, there was a Pancake Breakfast on Main Street with Beaverhill Brass Quintet entertaining the crowd at the Community Hall.

The Tofield Community Church hosted a non-denominational service, followed by a barbecue lunch.

Between noon and 1 p.m. the Main Street was closed off, with community members getting their floats ready for the parade at 1 p.m.

It was a great 30-minute-long celebration as floats representing the various local businesses and clubs in the community took part.

From the RCMP and Fire Department to the Town and Beaver County, the floats had one aim: to celebrate the Canadian spirit and spread joy among the kids as they distributed candies and freezies.
