It’s about learning and fun at Sunshine Villa
Once a month some of the residents at the Sunshine Villa get together and talk about something new they have learned or tried during the month.
On Friday, July 27 the residents met up for their annual Café 52 where they enjoyed snacks and beverages during discussion time, with Julie Ishida, activity coordinator at the Sunshine Villa.
The residents were given a tracking sheet where they could write down what they had learned each week of the month, with Cafè 52 being the last one.
Residents could reference the tracking sheets or they could just recall something new that they had experienced that month.
Ishida launched the “My 52 New Things” program after discovering a young man named Steven Robinson.
