Tofield hosts Beaver County 4-H communications event

On Sunday afternoon, Feb. 24 the Beaver County 4-H public speaking and presentation competition was held at The House in Tofield, with participants from the Tofield, Holden, and Viking 4-H clubs. There were 25 participants ranging from junior, intermediate, to senior levels.

There were four participants from Tofield – Avery Stevenson (senior), Koyier Cameron (senior), Seirre Spruyt (junior), and Bailey Maccan (junior).

Spruyt placed second in junior public speaking, while the other positions were won by Holden and Viking club members.

The results were as follows.

Jr. Public Speaking: 1st Kate Albrecht (Holden); 2nd Seirre Spruyt (Tofield)
