Tofield skaters win 24 medals in Mannville

Tofield skaters came home triumphant this past Saturday, March 9, as they participated in the Mannville Funskate competition, winning 24 medals in total.

As the final skating competition of the year, this was a great achievement by the Tofield Skating Club, according to President Shauna Neufeld.

“With 10 skaters taking part in the competition, they came away winning 24 medals,” Neufeld said. “They’ve had such a fun year.”

With the season coming to an end, the club will be hosting their annual carnival on Saturday, March 16 at the Tofield Arena. . . . contd.
