Pincher Creek male charged in Ryley

During the past week Tofield RCMP responded to 38 calls for service. Included in the calls for service were two motor vehicle collisions and a false alarm.

On April 9, Strathcona traffic services was conducting patrols in Tofield and conducted a vehicle stop on a Saturn Ion. The driver of the vehicle provided a sample of her breath into a roadside screening device and the result was a caution. The driver was issued a three-day driving suspension and the vehicle was towed.

On April 9, a resident of Beaver County reported a break and enter in progress on his property. RCMP attended and met the home owner. The suspect(s) had broken into a seacan on the property and loaded a quad and dirt bikes onto a trailer. The suspect(s) departed without taking the items. The property was checked and no suspects were located.

On April 10, the Tofield RCMP received several calls in regards to a resident of Ryley. This included several driving incidents and reports the person was hallucinating. RCMP attended and located the female who was having a medical crisis. She was arrested under the Mental Health Act and taken to a hospital for examination.
