Tofield’s Landon Van Engelen stars in Alberta Blue win

Landon Van Engelen got two goals and an assist for Alberta Blue this past weekend playing in the Alberta Cup from April 25-28 at Red Deer.

Alberta Blue was 2-3 over the weekend, beating Alberta Grey in the C Final 5-1.

The Alberta Cup aids in the identification and selection of bantam aged potential players for Hockey Alberta’s Team Alberta program, with hundreds of players annually trying out for the 120 spots on the six Alberta Cup teams.

Van Engelen played this past season for the Sherwood Park Flyers AAA Major Bantams.
