Tofield Tempo survives another incident of gas and dash
During the past week Tofield RCMP responded to 34 calls for service. Included in the calls for service were two motor vehicle collisions, a 911 hangup and three false alarms.
On May 13, the Tofield RCMP received a call of a break and enter to a business in Beaver County. The suspect is observed on video surveillance cutting the lock on the main gate and entering the compound. Once inside, the suspect entered a C-Can and departed shortly afterwards. The suspect vehicle is an older model of a burgundy Ford truck with no licence plate. The suspect was wearing a mask and gloves when committing the offence.
On May 14, a resident of Beaver County called in a break and enter to a rural property. The caller was advised there was a male and female at the location, who were not supposed to be there. On checking the property, the suspects were gone. The property has been abandoned for some time and it is unknown what if anything was stolen.
On May 14, a resident of Beaver County contacted the RCMP in regards to several vehicles which had been abandoned on their property. The caller believed they belonged to a tenant but had not been claimed. The RCMP attended and found two of the vehicles, a Cadillac Escalade and a Nissan Pathfinder had been reported stolen out of Edmonton. The vehicles were recovered and the owners were notified of the recovery. . . . contd.
