Tofield’s Tonya Davison to take part in her 15th MS Bike

Embarking on a fitness journey can be easy, but to maintain it and being accountable a little different; and it was the latter, which has helped local resident Tonya Davison to change her lifestyle and fundraise for causes close to her heart. And this year, will be her 15th to participate in this cause.

However, Davison said that biking came first, and then fitness.

Davison has been fundraising for MS Bike for 14 years, but it was only in 2017 that she decided to get into the fitness journey and change her life around.

“Biking had always been my hobby, but in 2001 when I first did it as part of the MS Bike to raise funds, it became more meaningful,” said Davison.

Davison participates in her first 5K Foam Fest.

At the time, Davison didn’t know anyone suffering from Multiple Sclerosis (MS), but she chose to do it anyway because she was aware that a lot of people in Canada and around the world suffer from this condition. . . . contd.
