Beaver County storage yard broken into; Bitcoin warning posters issued

During the last week, Tofield RCMP attended 24 calls for service, four of these were motor vehicle collisions.

Members were dispatched to a landlord tenant dispute in the town of Ryley. Police were able to diffuse the situation without further complaints.

A break-and-enter to a rural residence was reported in the area of Twp. Rd. 481 and Rge. Rd. 160. Tools, vehicle keys, and various household items were taken. This investigation is still ongoing.

A garage was broken into near Rge. Rd. 182 and Twp. Rd. 504. Two chainsaws and two full jerry cans of fuel were taken. This investigation is still ongoing.

Later in the week, a Tofield RCMP member initiated traffic stop with a Dodge Ram truck whose license plate did not match. When asked, the driver stated that he did not have his driver’s licence, registration, or insurance with him. The member asked the male to exit the vehicle at which point the male refused and drove off almost striking another vehicle in the process. . . . contd.
