Tofield teams fail to put points on board

These are some of the results from the Northern Alberta Interlock Minor Hockey League games held recently.

Tofield Tier 6 Atoms (4-3-1) were scheduled to play a home game against Fort Sask. on Saturday, but no score was posted. Tofield

Tier 3 Bantams (2-11-4) lost an 11-5 game at home on Saturday against Wabasca. Tofield had the lead early in the game but by the midway point Wabasca took control scoring eight unanswered goals in the second frame alone. Davin Codd had 5-points for Tofield (4g 1a). Other scorers were; Connolly Mozak (3a), Seth Sideroff (1g 1a), and Christian Amirault (1a). On Sunday Tofield travelled to the Killam Agriplex for a game against Battle River. Down 3-1 Tofield scored with 11:07 remaining to get to within one; but BR put the game away with a goal at the 15:09 mark. Davin Codd scored both Tofield goals, with assists going to Caleb Lampitt and Hudson Stephen.

Tofield Tier 4 Midgets (7-7-1) were shutout 7-0 by Hinton at Tofield Arena on Friday. . . . contd.
