Lil Ryley Farms brings Alberta Open Farm Days to the community

Alberta farmers once again opened their farms to visitors this past weekend, Aug. 15 and 16 on Alberta Open Farm Days (AOFD) to showcase daily operations on their farms.

Lil Ryley Farms, owned by Kerri and Adam Giesbrecht, and named after their son Ryley, just off Hwy. 26 in Bawlf took part on Saturday from 11 a.m. onwards.

Despite the pandemic, visitors came from across the province from as far as Banff to take in the farming goods, farm tour, and demonstration at the end of the farm tour.

According to Kerri Giesbrecht, it was Adam’s background and love for agriculture, and her drive to innovate and experience everything new that turned their family project into what it is today.
