Tofield RCMP responds to 67 occurrences this past week

The Tofield RCMP responded to 67 occurrences from Aug. 18 to Aug. 24, including one False Alarm, four traffic complaints and three motor vehicle collisions. The K Division Traffic Unit along with Tofield RCMP members issued 34 violation tickets for various traffic offences.

During the early morning hours of Sept. 6, RCMP attended a business in Tofield to respond to a complaint of several people partying on a rooftop. Patrol was made but the party had ended prior to police arrival.

The evening of the same day, RCMP received a complaint of a possible impaired driver heading to Tofield. Patrols were made but the vehicle was not located.

Just after midnight on Sept. 7, the RCMP were advised of a suspicious vehicle parked in an alley in Ryley. Vehicle had left the area prior to police arrival. . . . contd.
