Addressing the small gathering, all speakers shared their perspectives with Reeve Kallal sharing his personal story of his grandfather.

“When I think of the word ‘suicide’, I think of broken families, sadness, the loss of love, the loss of a valued life, and also the struggle that the victim of suicide endures,” said MLA Jackie Lovely. “World Suicide Prevention Day is a reminder that as humans, we have a moral and crucial role and responsibility to provide support to prevent that from happening. One loss is one too many.” . . . contd.
