Driving complaints keep RCMP busy
The Tofield RCMP responded to 38 occurrences from Sept. 4 to 20, 2020 (inclusive). Also included in these calls for service was one False Alarm, ten traffic complaints, and three motor vehicle collisions.
On Sept. 14, , Tofield RCMP received a driving complaint from Hwy. 14. RCMP attended and were able to locate, identify and provide a warning to the driver concerning driving behaviour.
In the afternoon, Tofield RCMP received a driving complaint regarding a vehicle on Hwy. 14. After extensive patrols, RCMP located the vehicle and found that the driver was suspended from driving, a ticket was issued and the vehicle was seized under authority of the Traffic Safety Act.
In the morning of Sept. 16, Tofield RCMP received another driving complaint on Hwy. 14 regarding a large dump truck. . . . contd.
