Serious ATV accident in rural Beaver County
The Tofield RCMP responded to 45 occurrences from Sept. 21 to 27 (inclusive). Also included in these calls for service was one False Alarm, three traffic complaints, and two motor vehicle collisions.
In the morning of Sept. 21, Tofield RCMP received a complaint from a business owner in downtown Tofield advising that someone had attempted to enter their business and had damaged their front door. RCMP attended and confirmed that no entry was gained into the business.
In the evening of Sept. 21, Tofield RCMP responded to a male who appeared to have been shot by a BB gun. RCMP attended and spoke to the victim and a number of witnesses. This matter is still under investigation.
On Sept. 22, Tofield RCMP began an investigation into inappropriate messages and communication being sent over the internet. RCMP attended and located parties responsible. The RCMP wants the public to be aware of safe practises when communicating over the internet on social media or open public domains. . . . contd.
