Potential new owner attends Lindbrook Hall meeting, adjacent property owners not happy

Last Thursday, Oct. 15, Lindbrook Hall was abuzz with a group of property owners, whose boundaries are adjacent to the Lindbrook Stargazer Campground. Currently, the campground is awaiting new ownership.

The purchase agreement is dependent upon a Beaver County development permit getting approved, which will increase the current camp sites from 41 to 80.

Organized by Lindbrook resident Candace Ketchum, it was a platform where one of the potential new owners from Calgary (who didn’t want his name to be mentioned) presented to the concerned group of about 35 attendees, and tried to address their concerns. The other owner is from Sherwood Park and was virtually present.

Also at the meeting were Beaver County councillor Kevin Smook and the previous campground owners, Deena and David McCauley. . . . contd.
