Vehicle thefts and impaired driving keep Tofield RCMP busy this week

The Tofield RCMP responded to 40 occurrences from Oct. 19 to 25, 2020 (inclusive). Also included in these calls for service was a number of traffic complaints, two false alarms and traffic enforcement provided by the K Division Traffic Unit.

In the early morning of Oct. 19, Tofield RCMP responded to a complaint of a break and enter to a residence in Ryley. RCMP attended and confirmed that the residence was entered and various property and items were stolen. This file is still under investigation.

In the evening of Oct. 19, Tofield RCMP responded to a stolen vehicle complaint where a white 2006 Dodge Ram 3500 was stolen from the Ryley area. This file is still under investigation.

In the evening of Oct. 19, Tofield RCMP responded to a motor vehicle collision with a deer on Hwy. 14. RCMP attended and vehicle was towed, no injuries reported.

On Oct. 20, Tofield RCMP responded to a stolen vehicle complaint where a brown 2008 Ford F350 truck was stolen from a rural location outside Tofield. . . . contd.
