Tofield RCMP attends to residential break and enter

The Tofield RCMP responded to 23 occurrences from Feb. 8-14, 2021 (inclusive). Also included in these calls for service were three traffic complaints, one motor vehicle collision with wildlife and traffic enforcement provided by the K Division Traffic Unit.

On Feb. 8, Tofield RCMP responded to a wellbeing check on an individual in Holden. RCMP arrived and spoke to all parties and determined that the substance of the complaint was a dispute between family members. RCMP was able to separate all parties involved with no further incidents reported.

On Feb. 9, Tofield RCMP responded to a suspicious vehicle complaint in Beaver County. RCMP arrived on scene and found that the vehicle, a silver Ford F350, was unoccupied and recently reported stolen. RCMP seized the vehicle. This file is still under investigation.

On Feb. 9, Tofield RCMP responded to an uttering threats complaint in Beaver County. RCMP arrived and spoke to the victim and were able to identify the suspect that made the threats. RCMP spoke to all parties, resolved the conflict and warned them of this continued behaviour. . . . contd.
