I’ve just learned that Kraft Dinner launched a pumpkin spice-flavoured version of its signature pasta back in October, obviously hoping it would be added to everyone’s Thanksgiving menu, possibly in place of Granny’s green bean casserole. I missed the presentation completely and confess to having problems trying to imagine what pumpkin spice flavoured cheese tastes like. And wondering what the sauce looked like – was it cheese coloured or pumpkin coloured? Which would be brown, like the pies (where I prefer to get my pumpkin spices), right? Is it just me or is that as unappetizing as it sounds?

Despite the glut of pumpkin spice every fall in everything from ice cream to BBQ sauce, it must have been a hit because KD announced a pasta created especially for all the romantics out there. . . . contd.
